Quick answers

Is your course recognized by the SAAQ?

Yes. Omega is a SAAQ-recognized driving school and a member of the AECQ (Association des écoles de conduite du Québec). Our beginner course follows the SAAQ’s Road Safety Education Program, which every new class 5 driver must complete.

Can I take the course in English?

Yes. Theory and in-car lessons are available in English or French, at both branches. Choose your language when you register.

How long until I get my learner’s permit?

Phase 1 of the beginner course takes at least 28 days: five weekly theory classes and a 24-question exam in class. Once you pass, we give you a certificate and you get your learner’s permit at a SAAQ service centre.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes. The beginner course ($1,130) is paid in 6 instalments tied to the course phases, starting with $250 at the start of phase 1. We go over the payment plan with you when we confirm your registration.
